Spring is my favorite time of the year! I've always questioned what the Rabbit's role was for Easter. I've found that they are the most fertile of animals which they serve as a symbol of new life during the Spring season. But then I ask... "why the egg?... And why is the Rabbit carrying the egg?" Well the egg is also the symbol of fertility and new life as well. It seems very suiting for the two to be paired with each other for all to enjoy!
